Message :	It has been said many times that Wigwam in the old days were in fact two quite different groups in one, "Jukka Gustavson's Wigwam" and "Jim Pembroke's Wigwam". I think that's very true. So why not split the production up the way it should have been in the first place? Here is my suggestion for a track-listing for the amazing fictional debut album by "Jukka Gustavson's Wigwam". You need two (or three) CDs to make it: "Hard n' Horny"/"Tombstone Valentine" (that's two seperate discs if you have the remastered versions) and "Fresh Garbage". The first part is in Finnish, the second part is in English, with one instrumental Pekka Pohjola track thrown in. Surely, one of the best albums Wigwam never made!

Message :	RE: Remastered Wigwam CDs. In what way were they supposed to be better than the previous lot? Sometimes remastering takes away for instance the tape hiss, but it flattens the sound. Have there been any discussions in Finnish about this that the rest of us should know about? I still have Being and Fairyport on vinyl only and wonder what CDs to go for. With regard to the copying problem EsaJii mentions, I generally have doubts about the sound quality of computer copies. A much better way to go is to buy a dedicated semi-professional CD duplicator such as the Tascam CD-D4000 Mk II. Apart from making perfect copies it isn't bothered with blocking systems and will copy to and from any kind of disc, not just devoted Audio CDs, as non- professional CD recorders do. Can be bought quite cheap. For straight-forward recording and playback the Tascam CD-RW700 is amazing, too, and it can also be used as an attenuating D/A converter, warming up the CD sound conciderably (most CDs today have a much too high output and will benefit from a lowering of the signal before it goes into the amp).

Message :	EsaJii, glad the NN reissue was of use to you. Does anyone know if it ever went on sale in Finland officially? On a different note, has anyone out there got the Madam George LP/CD? Is it worth getting apart from the fact that Ronnie plays on it? Also, can anyone describe the differences between the first batch of Wigwam CDs and the remastered versions? I thought the early ones were really good and I fear the later ones are over-processed, as is often seen, for instance with the Genesis discs.

Message :	Tanskalainen, you did well selecting NN reissue tracks, I did not have but the LP of Cauliflower back then. Wigwam is a band that is hard to complile, as it has evolved so much. Highlights is also a good effort, but lacks a lot of Jukka input. In fact I miss having any song in Finnish on it, Luulosairas is as representative of the band as any. Rick in Kansas has the following suggestion for the verse in question: "You'll put your room like in a cell/You know you are but hate to tell/The magic clown etc." If there are no protests to this I will go along with it (thanks, Rick) and get the analysis done soon. There are quite a few other things coming up in English, too. Message :	syksyllä tänne tulevan rushin suosio on kyllä osittain selitettävissä sillä, että 70-luvun loppuun tullessa jenkeissä ei edelleenkään ollut omaa todella kovaa hard-rock ryhmää (kyllä - rushkin on kanadasta) like zeppelin. Rush on ehkä kuitenkin kaikkien aikojen paras trio. Musa on kyllä paikoitellen kuivaa, etenkin kun sekoitellaan joissain biiseissä zep, yes, police genesis juttuja, niin saattaa etoa. Kerraniin viikonloppu, että Suomi voittaa euroviisut ja lätkän. Ruotsissa tämä on koettu monasti + kerran käsipallo, lentopallo ja pingis MM samaan rupeamaan
